About
My artistic background and love for overgrown, rambling gardens naturally led me to floristry. After training as a florist in Guernsey, I launched my own business and later moved to London to lead creative projects for a top luxury florist. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work across Europe, the Middle East and in New York, and I now call beautiful Bretagne, in France, home.
With over six years as a Creative Lead at McQueens Flowers, I have designed floral installations for prestigious events such as the Olivier Awards, London Design Week and Wimbledon, whilst collaborating with leading brands such as Vogue, Loewe, Burberry, Kate Halfpenny and Alice Temperley.
My work has graced renowned venues. These include Claridge’s Hotel, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Annabel’s Private Members’ Club, The Royal Albert Hall and Bois de Boulogne in Paris. I have had the pleasure of teaching full floristry career courses to students from all over the world.
Alison Lythgoe Studio is born from my extensive experience in the luxury London flower scene. Now based in Bretagne, France, I specialise in bespoke, timeless designs with a garden-inspired aesthetic. I am available for events and weddings across France and Europe.
